He wasn’t selected in the NHL draft last spring. That’s a fact that many NHL general manager’s might soon be losing sleep over if Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith continues his torrid early season pace.

Saturday night, Griffith continued to rack up points adding a goal and 3 assists as his London Knights downed the highly touted Plymouth Whalers 6-3. Griffith was also named the game’s first star.

Through the first 4 games of the season, Griffith has 9 points including 4 goals. More importantly in the eyes of many, Griffith has a positive plus/minus of plus 4, which could be higher if not for the fact that many of Griffith’s early season points have come on the powerplay.

Prior to the season, Griffith told CKSN, “I’m hoping for a good year with our team, I think it’s a team that can really go far in the playoffs.”

If the early season output of Griffith, and the London Knights hot start are any indication, Griffith’s prediction might become a reality.
