High school girls rugby
The Blenheim Bobcats went a perfect 4-0, without allowing a point against, to win the first ever Kent Cup high school rugby tournament at UCC Saturday. In the opening game of the tournament, Blenheim defeated the host Lancers, 7-0. Mary Boldt had the only try in the game, while Brianne Nicholas kicked a convert. Blenehim shut-out Wallaceburg in their second game 32-0, before beating two London squads 26-0 and 5-0….

Wallaceburg’s Justin Durston had 11 points in a 14-13 comeback win over Guelph on Saturday. oel Shepley scored with 41 ticka lef ton the clock for the game winning goal. Durston now has 26 points in three games, third in the OLA Junior B Lacrosse league. The Red Devils will head to Sarnia on Wednesday for their next game….
