The Dresden Kings are hoping to bounce back after a loss to Wallaceburg, as they host the Kingsville Comets.

Alvinston hosts Essex.

And Blenheim heads to Belle River.


Strathroy blanked St. Thomas 2-0.

Leamington nipped Lambton Shores 2-1.

St. Mary’s got passed Sarnia 5-4.

Tonight, the Chatham Maroons will look to bounce back as they head to St. Mary’s to face the Lincolns.

London hosts Lasalle.

Lambton Shores heads to St. Thomas.

World Junior Hockey News

Finland beat Canada 3-2 in an exhibition tuneup yesterday. Griffin Reinhart and Mark Scheifele scored the goals for Canada, while Malcolm Subban finished with 19 saves.

In other exhibition action

Team USA topped Sweden 3-2 in OT.


The league cancelled all games up to January 14th yesterday, many experts are saying this could be the final cut. Speculation is spreading that the entire season would be cancelled the next time around if a CBA cannot reached before. The lockout enters Day 97.


The Raps and Pistons were off.
