Here are Bridget Carleton’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:

1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

The highlight of my career so far was definitely making Team Canada and participating at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas in Mexico this summer. It was a very good experience and I could not have been more proud playing for my country.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

My favourite sports team is the Detroit Tigers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

3. If you could achieve one goal in sports, what would it be?

To play for my country at the Olympics.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

My mom (Carrie Carleton) is my biggest sports influence. She is the reason I started playing basketball and she always pushes me to be the best person and player I can be.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

The thing I love most about playing sports is competing. I love being on a team and everyone having the same goal in mind and working together to achieve the goal.
