Allin, Hansen Lead Teams To First

basketball-netLuke Allin and Jared Hansen have been leaders for their high school basketball teams from the opening tip off this season, and Tuesday night was no different as each topped their team in scoring, and helped their respective clubs climb to first in league standings.

Allin scored a game high 13-points, helping the UCC Lancers edge the CKSS Golden Hawks 41-36 in Senior Boys AA-AAA-AAAA basketball action. Ian Comiskey added 9-points for the Lancers who now stand at 10-0 in the KCSSAA standings.

Marley Blommers was CKSS’ leading scorer in the losing effort scoring 12-points.

In Senior Boys A action, Hansen scored 20-points for the Blenheim Bobcats in a 42-34 win over Ridgetown. Dylan Webster chipped in with 8-points for the first place Blenheim Bobcats, who now sit with a record of 7-5, good for first overall.

In other senior boys action, John McGregor beat Wallaceburg 30-22, and Pain Court crushed Tilbury 50-19.
