Wallaceburg lacrosse product Sean Pollock has re-signed with the National Lacrosse League’s Colorado Mammoth.

Pollock re-signed a one-year contract with the Mammoth, after finishing fourth on the team last season in scoring with 23 goals and 28 assists for 51 points in only 17 games.

Entering his 12th professional season, Pollock, a Port Lambton product, grew up playing for the Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse Association, and later with the Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior B team.

In his 12 year career, Pollock has collected 198 goals, 299 assists, and 497 points in 159 games split between the Minnesota Swarm and Colorado Mammoth. He also has 14 points in 8 career playoff games.

Wallaceburg resident and area Wallaceburg minor lacrosse coach Tye Belanger, another former Wallaceburg Red Devil, also plays for the Colorado Mammoth.

Pollock and the Colorado Mammoth open their 2015 NLL season January 3 on the road against Pollock’s former team, the Minnesota Swarm.
