The Chatham Maroons Junior B team has announced their 2015 Spring evaluation camp, which will be held May 7 and 8 at Thames Campus Arena in Chatham, Ontario.

The skates, which will run from 6-10pm each night, are open to all interested players who complete the online prospects form on the Chatham Maroons website, which can be found by CLICKING HERE.

The Chatham Maroons finished second in the GOJHL’s Western Conference this season with a 34-13-2 record, before being eliminated in the opening round of playoffs by the London Nationals.

The Maroons’ roster will have several open positions this season as Chatham will graduate three 20-year-old defenseman, four 20-year-old forwards, and both of their goalies.

Chatham also lost captain Michael Verboom midway through the season as he left the team early to join the NCAA’s Mercyhurst Lakers. The Maroons will also likely lose underage defenseman Levi Tetrault who joined the OHL’s Guelph Storm at seasons end, leaving at least 10 openings for next season.

The camp will cost $95 for prospective players, including a practice jersey. Any interest players are invite to fill out the prospect form. Any questions should be forwarded to Chatham Maroons assistant general manager Bill Cumming at 519-401-4747.
