Chatham’s Andy Fantuz is now the owner of a world record, after the Hamilton Tiger Cats slotback set the world record for the most one-handed catches in 60 seconds.

Most recently held by US college football player Tevaun Smith, Fantuz broke the record with help from Bo Levi Mitchell and Darian Durant, both CFL players as well.

Fantuz’s record saw him catch 50 balls, one-handed in 60 seconds. The previous record, which was set earlier this year, was 41, by Smith, a receiver at Iowa.
