It’s game 2 of the Blenheim Blades – Amherstburg Admirals Jr C semi-final series tonight The Blades took game one to open series with a 4-3 overtime win on Tuesday.  Blenheim Coach Bob McNear says this series can go either way it’s just a matter of who makes the mistake



Game 2 gets underway this evening in Blenheim at 7 pm.

The Essex 73’s now lead the Mooretown Flags 2 games to none as they grabbed a 4-2 win over the Flags last night.  Trevor Wheaton with 30 saves on the night.

Former Sarnia Sting Alex Galchenyuk with a pair of goals as Montreal stopped their losing streak with a 4-3 win last night in the NHL

2 games were postponed last night in the OHL.  Trent Fox of Thamesville grabbed an assist as the Hamilton Bulldogs

got by the North Bay Battalion 4-3.

The John McGregor Panthers made a good showing for themselves at SWOSSAA.  The Panthers came from behind to overcome a 14 point deficit, but time just ran out and they lose in the Sr Boys ‘AA’ final 44-41 to The Windsor Kennedy Clippers

The Jr Boys SWOSSAA game between Lambton Kent and Lejeuesse has been rescheduled to Monday the 29th.

Bridget Carlton of Chatham with 11 points on the night as the Iowa State Cyclones downed Kansas State 68-53 in Big 12 women’s basketball.
