Local Team Wins At Slo-Pitch Provincials

The Saintsy’s Slo-Pitch team on a provincial championship

Local team, Sainty’s Campbell Toyota participated in the Slo-Pitch National Provincials last weekend in Niagara Falls, winning the tournament, and earning an invite to Nationals.

The Saintsy’s Campbell Toyota team when 6-0 on the weekend, including 3-0 in the round robin.

The team went on to a 18-1 win in the first round of play-offs against Brantford Nissan, followed by a 20-10 semi-final win over Etobicoke Cobra’s.

Facing the Etobicoke Hurricanes in the final, Saintsy’s Cambell Toyota had a tough fight. Down 5-1 in the 5th inning, the team fought back to win 10-8, capturing the title.

The win at the Ontario Provincials earned the team an invite to the National Championship next year.
