Blades Sign Maroon

Blenheim Blades made their first player moves since opening day Wednesday signing 17-year-old forward Seth Henderson, who had been playing Junior ‘B’ with the Chatham Maroons.

Henderson played in six games for the Maroons and did not record a point. Last year as an affiliate player with the Blades Henderson had an assist in seven games.

The Blades made a second move as well releasing defenceman Connor Shipton.

In four games with the Blades, Shipton had no points and eight minutes in penalties.
