The new additions, Brendan Johnston and Nolan Vandenboorn, made an immediate impact for the Dresden Kings, lifting them to a 3-0 win over the Blenheim Blades Sunday night.

Brendan Johnston collected a 28 save win between the pipes for the Kings, while Nolan Vandenboorn scored a second period power play goal.

Brendan Ritchie also had a big night for the Kings, scoring a goal and adding two assists.

Kevin Ritzer had the other Dresden goal.
