Several CK Athletes Medal At Athletics Ontario Meet

After Emma Pegg and Alison Stephens won gold on day one of the Athletics Ontario Championships in Windsor, local athletes continued to find the podium on day two of the event.

Pegg picked up her second gold of the meet on day two, winning the 800m event with a time of 2:13.53.

She was also part of the silver medal winning U18 4x400m relay, which featured local athletes Payton Sabourin and Chloe Pugh.

Payton Sabourin grabbed another medal on day two, crossing the finish line in 1:05.07 for bronze in the U18 400m hurdles.

Jaden Wilson also won his second medal of the event. He had a bronze on day one, and added a silver in the U16 200m hurdles with a time of 26.88.

Finally, Kyra Vellinga won bronze in the U16 200m hurdles with a time of 29.74s.
