Kent Havoc U15s hosted Waterloo on Saturday June 20th as part of the Kent Havoc’s first club day.

The Havoc’s skills have developed over the last few weeks, and showed it with some hard first few plays. The Kent Havoc moved the ball well out to the wing, defended hard at the rucks, and made really strong tackles.

Waterloo scored first, taking control of the breakdowns, but Havoc quickly returned. The first half was evenly matched, with both teams playing good rugby and the score line reflected that at 12-all.

The second half was a slower, and slightly messier game, the heat starting to effect both teams, but a run the length of the pitch early on by Brynn Larkin put Havoc into the lead.

Waterloo answered with a few tries of their own. With 10 minutes left Havoc were still up by two but Waterloo managed to squeeze through another couple of tries Final score 27-19 for Waterloo.

Kent Havoc tries were scored by Brynn Larkin and Megan Burke. Conversion by Ella Brown.

Players of the match were Jillian Vickery for Havoc and Mia Legault for Waterloo.
