Maroons Take A Tie In Preseason Home Opener

The Chatham Maroons played to a 2-2 tie through a pair of overtime periods against the LaSalle Vipers in their preseason home opener Sunday.

Playing at Thames Campus Arena, Brett Fisher scored a pair for the Maroons.

Both goals came on the powerplay with Griffin Robinson assisting on each, and Kyle Fisher assisting on one.

Tiago Rocha played the entire game, stopping 29 of the 31 shots he faced.

The Chatham Maroons have announced the majority of their roster, but are still auditioning players through the preseason to fill out their lineup.
