Blenheim Blades pulled off a come from behind victory over the Petrolia Flyers at home in PJHL action Sunday.

The win moves the Blades into a tie for third place with the Flyers, but the Blades have played one less game.

The Blades entered the third period trailing by a two, before Seth Henderson scored at the 7:33 mark. Blenheim’s Carter Wright scored three minutes later to tie the game. With Petrolia trying to kill off a major penalty,

Henderson notched his second of the night at the 15:57 mark, to give the Blades a one goal lead.

The Flyers did pull their goaltender with a minute left to play, in an attempt to get the equalizer. They were however still saddled with time remaining in their major penalty, and could only have five skaters on the ice. The Blades were able to kill off the remaining time for the win. Blenheim’s Sebastian Stubberfield had an assist on all of the Blades goals.

Henderson now leads the Blades in scoring with five points, just three less than his total from last year. ​​​​​​​​
