Hunter Posts First Career Shutout, Leading Tommies To First Win

Chatham’s Marandee Hunter had a game to remember Saturday for the St. Thomas University Tommies, leading her women’s hockey team to their first win of the season.

Hunter stopped all 19 shots she faced, posting a shutout in the 3-0 win over Mount Allison.

The win improved the Tommies to 1-3-0 on the season.

Hunter currently sits in the top four in both major statistical categories in the AUS.

The Chatham Outlaws alumni has a sparkling 1.01 goals against average (third) and .952 save percentage (fourth).
