Chatham-Kent Women’s Hockey Products Showing Strong In OUA

Several Chatham-Kent women’s hockey products are having strong seasons in the OUA.

Sydnee Baker and Lauren Nicholson were tied for 10th in provincial scoring heading into the weekend with 16 points each. Baker players for the Western University Mustangs, while Nicholson plays for the Ryerson University Rams.

Both players sit second on their respective teams in scoring.

Former Chatham Outlaws goalie Erica Fryer was 5th in the province statistically with a 1.34 GAA and .940 save percentage in 13 games with the University of Toronto.

Another CK product patrolling the Western blueline is Renae Nevills. Nevills has 7 points this season.

Playing for the Brock Badgers, Katreena Whiteye has 3 assists through 20 games this season.

Finally, last year’s Chatham Outlaws Midget ‘AA’ captain KayCyn Hernandez has one goal from the Windsor Lancers blueline.
