GOJHL Announces Conditions For Spectators For Coming Season
The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) has outlined their plans for allowing spectators into hockey games for the coming season, as part of their return-to-play plan.
While mandatory masks and physical distancing measures echo much of the public health strategies in Ontario, some hockey and sport specific items were included.
These items include the availability of assigned seating, restriction to fans in the area of players, and up to 30% capacity.
If assigned seating is not available, teams will be allowed a maximum of 150 fans.
While no specific return-to-play date has been outlined for the GOJHL, a league which includes the Chatham Maroons, the league continues to make plans for a season.
