Griffith Waived For Purpose Of Reassignment

The Edmonton Oilers placed Wallaceburg forward Seth Griffith on waivers for the purpose of reassigning him to their AHL affiliate.

Griffith who spent all of last season with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors is likely to do the same again this year.

Griffith has appeared in NHL preseason games, including this season, but has not played in the NHL since 2017-2018.

Griffith had 28 points in 39 games, before adding 7 points in 6 playoff games last year for Bakersfield, while also serving as an assistant captain for the team.
