Editor in Chief/Publisher – Ian Kennedy – 519-784-4919

Ian Kennedy is the owner and editor of the Chatham-Kent Sports Network ( A University of Western Ontario graduate, Ian is also a secondary school teacher in Chatham-Kent. Ian’s sportscasts and news contributions are regularly featured on 99.1 CKXS FM in Wallaceburg, and his weekly articles are also featured in print in the Chatham Voice. In the past, Ian worked as a columnist and reporter for the Chatham-Kent Daily Post.

MMA Editor/Sports Reporter/Columnist – Dwight Wakabayashi
Dwight Wakabayashi is a former Chatham-Kent resident, who is the MMA editor, and a regular sports news and opinion writer for CKSN. A featured Columnist at Bleacher Report UFC/NHL, Guest writer at UFC, MMA Canada, and the Nikkei Voice, Dwight has 10 years of sports writing experience. Earning a diploma in journalism from Centennial College, Dwight currently lives in Toronto.
Editor/Sports Reporter/Broadcaster – Jay Smith –
Jay Smith is the afternoon drive host of “Weekdaze” on 99.1 CKXS, based out of Wallaceburg. Smith, a local journalist and radio personality, is a Thamesville born and bred sports enthusiast and father of twin girls, Grace and Aubrey. Jay is a grad of Conestoga College’s Journalism: Print and Broadcasting program. An avid Red Wings and Blue Jays fan, Smith is also a retired professional wrestler. Jay supplies play-by-play for local Jr. C hockey games on 99.1 CKXS and can be heard live on the air daily from 2 to 7 pm. Follow Smith on Twitter @jay991ckxs

Reporter/New Director – Robyn Brady –
Born and raised in Scarborough, Robyn Brady has been working in broadcasting in Chatham-Kent for over 15 years. She launched her radio career in the summer of 2000 in Summerside, PEI before moving to CK. With a BA in dramatic arts and a diploma in broadcast journalism, Robyn is an avid reader, animal lover, and theatre buff.
