Redemption’s Tyler Kirk Victorious in Shawn Tompkins Fundraiser Bout

Redemption MMA and Chatham-Kent mixed martial artist Tyler Kirk put on a show in honour of “The Coach” Shawn Tompkins on Friday Ocrtober 21st at Adrenaline Training Center in London.

Kirk put on an impressive display of offence and defence and took home a unanimous decision win over Adrenaline fighter Phil Jorna. Kirk was able to get in, pick his shots and then quickly get out of harms way all night long in the ring.

Tyler trains out of Redemption MMA in Chatham under coach and stand up artist Chris Kimmerly. Along with his win over Jorna, Kirk holds a 2-1 record in MMA and is set to get in the cage again on November 15th in the Triple X Cagefighting organization.

This event will hold a special feeling as it will take place in the old Pontiac Silverdome and Kirk will be joined on the card by fellow Redemption fighter and Chatham native Steve Eldridge.
