Chatham Skating Club Preparing for 62nd Annual Ice Show

The Chatham Skating Club is presenting its’ 62nd Annual Ice Show, “Once Upon a Time”. This will be presented on Sunday March 25th, 2012 at 1:30pm at Thames Campus Arena on Grand Ave, Chatham.

The Chatham Skating Club is a non-profit organization, with this being one of our fundraisers to off-set the cost of running an efficient skating club. .

The Ice Show is a time to celebrate all of our skaters’ accomplishments over the past year. It includes skaters from pre-school level, CanSkate, right up to our Provincial and National Competitors and even our Adult Skaters.

Tickets are available for $8.00 for adults or children ages 4-12 – $5.00, and children age 3 and under are free. These can be purchased during club time on Mondays, Wednesdays from 6-8pm or Saturdays 10:30 – 11:45am at Thames Campus Arena.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door that day for $10.00.

We are also honoured to have Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch, who are the 2011 Canadian Pairs Champions, performing an exhibition skate. The pair trains at the Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club with coaches Kris Wirtz and Kristy Sargeant-Wirtz.

Come out for a fun and exciting family event to celebrate local talent.

As well, the Chatham Skating Club is now conducting registration for our Spring Skating Session.

Registrations will be accepted on an ongoing basis, during Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm, at Thames Campus Arena.

The Spring Session starts Friday, March 30th and goes till Wednesday, May 30th.

We will be offering – Pre-School, CanSkate, Advanced CanSkate, Adult CanSkate, PrePower CanSKate, Group StarSkate, and StarSkate. Something for every age and level.

Lessons are lead by NCCP certified professional coaches with trained program assistants.
