The UCC Lancers continued their dominance of the local girls hockey loop shutting out the Northern Vikings 4-0 in the LKSSAA final to win the ‘AAA-AAAA’ girls hockey title.

Grade 10 forward Amber Lumley, who plays her club hockey for the Windsor Wildcats Midget ‘AA’ team, paced the Lancers in the win scoring two goals including the game winner.

She was joined on the scoresheet by the Lancers’ top line. Madison Lalonde scored a goal and added an assist in the win, while linemate Sydnee Baker had a goal, and Lauren Nicholson added two assists.

Goaltenders Sydney Authier and Larissaa McFadden split the victory in net.

UCC will attempt to advance to OFSAA for the third straight season next week when they face the WECSSAA AAA-AAAA champion in the SWOSSAA final.

The UCC Lancers finish their LKSSAA regular season and playoffs with a perfect 10-0 record.
