The Chatham Maroons worked overtime Sunday night at home to defeat the LaSalle Vipers 4-3.

After Michael Levesque opened the scoring in the first, Brett Primeau scored a pair for LaSalle to give the Vipers a 2-1 lead after the first.

In the second period, Brayden Hopkins and Alex Morgan scored to give Chatham the lead.

The teams continued their back and forth in the third period as Mark Manchurek tied things up for LaSalle.

In overtime, Chatham wasted no time finishing things. Trevor Richardson took a feed from call up Corbin Hagerman and buried one past LaSalle netminder Eli Billing, who faced 44 shots on the evening.

Chatham’s Jake Patterson made 36 saves in the win.
