Chiefs In OMHA Final, Waiting For Opponent
The South Kent Chiefs Juvenile team will play for the OMHA championship, after qualifying earlier this month.
The Chiefs finished first in a Juvenile BB-B round robin series against Lincoln and Mooretown.
South Kent defeated Lincoln 6-1, and lost to Lincoln 6-3, and defeated Mooretown 10-3 and 5-2 to finish first in the round robin.
The Chiefs will now wait for the winner of a series between Lincoln and Mooretown to determine who they will play in the OMHA championship series. Lincoln and Mooretown begin their series February 20, with the last possible game scheduled for March 8.
The Chiefs won the OMHA title two seasons ago.
