No Timetable For Suisham’s Return
Wallaceburg’s Shaun Suisham has been sideline for more than six months, and the NFL kicker still isn’t sure what his timeline for return is.
“I am working every day,” Suisham said in a Steelers.com news release. “I am still not there yet. I don’t have a timetable. I will continue to work.”
Suisham tore his ACL in a preseason game playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers in late August, and missed the entire 2015-2016 NFL season.
“It’s my goal to get back to 100 percent. At that point I will be able to start kicking again. I don’t know when that day is. I am not sure. I will continue to work. I will do everything I possibly can to put myself in a position to succeed,” continued Suisham.
Suisham has 10 seasons of NFL experience. The 34-year-old kicker had played all 16 regular season games in each of the past 4 seasons.
