The Chatham GU15 Strikers are the EMDSL Competitive Tier 1 Champions for a second straight season. The Strikers captured gold by defeating Croatia FC in their last game of the season 3-0. Goals were scored by Jessica Conrod (2) and Mackenzie French. Hunter Gagner earned the shut out. The Strikers finished the season with 10 W and 2 L in league play.

The team finished with the most goals for (47) and the least goal against (13) for the entire league. Keeper Hunter Gagner topped the league for shut-outs with 5. Five Strikers finished within the top 10 goal scorers of the league- Jessica Conrod, Kayla Coates, Kaitlyn Isaac, Taryn Dudley, and Alexa Arbour. The girls had an amazing season winning the championships in both tournaments they attended with a perfect 10-0 record allowing only 2 goals in all 10 tournament games.

Chatham also played their final game of the District Challenge Cup against Sarnia Spirit over the weekend. Although Chatham completely controlled the play through-out the first half they were unable to capitalize until early in the second half with a beautiful shot by Emily Barstead to the top left corner. Strikers earned the Challenge Cup Championship 1-0. Gagner was perfect between the pipes to earn the shut out.
