The Chatham U14 (2002) Strikers completed another great season by winning the Elgin Middlesex District Soccer League. They clinched the title by virtue of 1-1 draw to second place London Marconi on the final game the season. The Strikers were 13 wins and 1 tie and only gave up an unprecedented 4 goals all season.

Head Coach Neil Anderson has steered the team since the team began playing in the competitive divisions as U10’s. In that time the Strikers have won the league title 4 times and amassed an incredible record of 85 wins, 5 losses and 4 ties.

“The girls on this team are the real story,” says Anderson, “They are an incredible group of athletes and I have been lucky to be enough to be a witness to their great play and soccer skills.”

Assistant coaches Peter MacKinnon and Martin Pittuck also praised the great group of girls who battled hard all year long and played with a consistent determined effort.
