The Dresden Jr. Kings Junior C team is set to open their 2017-2018 main camp tonight.

The three day camp will attempt to help the Kings finalize their roster for the upcoming PJHL Stobbs Division season.

The camp goes tonight from 6-8pm, then continues this Saturday, August 26 with Team Wiseman and Team Houston taking part in one hour morning practices before an afternoon 1-2:30pm scrimmage.

Sunday the teams will practice again and scrimmage from 1-2:30pm.

The Kings have some big holes to fill in their roster heading into the season with reigning OHA Junior C Player of the Year and captain Dillon Liberty graduating.

Dresden also loses 6-year Kings veteran Macks Holmes, starting goalie Joel Sowinski, and veteran blueliner Logan Pubrick as overagers.

Also moving on was last year’s 16-year-old Eric Carter, who signed with the Chatham Maroons, and 1999 born forward Kadin Ritchie who was traded to the Amherstburg Admirals.
