Pegg Breaks Record Set By Olympian

Emma Pegg of Morpeth, broke a 36-year-old record set by a former Commonwealth Games medallist and Olympian Friday at the OFSAA West Regional meet in Windsor.

Pegg won the midget girls 400m race with a time of 56.75 second, shattering the record of Donalda Duprey, set in 1982 of 57.3.

Pegg now qualifies for OFSAA from June 7-9 at York University.
