Former PJHL Stobbs Division convenor Mark Hagerman will take on a new, larger role this season within the re-imagined PJHL.

Hagerman will serve under province wide Commissioner Terry Whiteside as the Western Conference Manager.

“The job itself is bidirectional in a sense, because of logistics the Conference Managers become the eyes and ears out in the rinks and communities for the Commissioner, insuring that the new Manual of Operations is implemented and just as importantly, be an accessible resource to work with the teams and communities supporting them,” explained Hagerman of the new role.

His position as Western Conference Manager will oversea operations in the Stobbs Division and Yeck Division.

While the PJHL rolls out consistent, and province wide rules and regulations, Hagerman is aware there will be bumps in this year’s implementation, but is confident the league is heading in the right direction.

“There will be a few hiccups along the way this season but the direction moving forward is well defined and everyone is on board to see that the PJHL and it’s member teams sustain competitive developmental junior hockey in Ontario for many years to come.”
