Chatham’s Olivia Stallaert and Cedar Springs’ Shania Van Herk were named MVP’s of their respective teams at the University of Guelph.

Guelph held an online banquet over the weekend to honour their athletes.

Stallaert, a third year student at Guelph, was the Gryphons Figure Skating MVP. She finished her year winning an OUA bronze medal in the Senior Similar Pairs Freeskate competition.

Van Herk, a fifth year student, was the Gryphons swimming MVP, winning a pair of bronze medals, including in the women’s 50m backstroke, as well as another bronze in the women’s 200m medley relay.
