Battle Of The Blades Postponed After Positive COVID-19 Test

Tonight was set to mark the start of CBC’s Battle of the Blades, which this season would feature former Chatham hockey player Meghan Agosta.

The show however has been paused after a member of the production team tested positive for COVID-19.

Battle of the Blades is a reality show pairing figure skaters and hockey players in a figure skating competition.

Her partner on the show will be National Champion, and World Championship medalist Andrew Poje.

Agosta has won three Olympic gold medals, and two World Championship gold medals, along with seven silvers in those events.

Chatham’s Shae-Lynn Bourne has appeared on the show three times, and was runner up in season one and season two.

Blenheim’s Todd Warriner also participated in the show in season two.

Season 6 will begin airing October 15, with the winners taking home $100,000 for a charity of their choice.
