Former Maroon Kaleb Tiessen Makes NCAA Division I Commitment

Former Chatham Maroons defender Kaleb Tiessen has committed to play NCAA DI hockey for St. Cloud State University beginning in 2022-2023.

Tiessen spent time with both the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ program playing in Chatham in both his U15 and U16 seasons, before making the Chatham Maroons in 2019-2020.

This season, Tiessen has starred for the OJHL’s Burlington Cougars.

The 6’5″ blueliner had 30-points in 50 regular season games.

This year, the St. Cloud State roster featured five NHL draft picks and the team’s active alumni includes 12 players who appeared in the National Hockey League this season.
