In Game 2, Wallaceburg defeated The Midland Titans 12-4 to advance to the playoffs.

In the playoffs, Wallaceburg played a tough game, but lost to the Peterborough Lakers 9-6. The Griffins team left the arena feeling defeated, and thinking they were on their way home.

That night, just before 11pm, they received a message from officials, that the Peterborough Lakers had ineligible player(s) in the game, and their game was defaulted, and Wallaceburg would be awarded a spot in the Semi Finals.

Wallaceburg had to prepare for their next game at 9am the next day against the West Grey Rampage. Wallaceburg held on to win that game 5-4.

In the finals they faced the first team they played in the tournament the Stayner Hitman.

This time, the Wallaceburg Griffins came out victorious, winning 5-4, and securing the gold medal.
